OUR COUNTRY SHOW HISTORY

The Swaton Vintage Day was started in 1994 by a couple of local farmers as a way to showcase their ‘Pride and Joy’ Vintage Tractors and to raise a bit of money for local causes.

It has expanded over the years to become the world renowned extravaganza it now is.

Our country show now enjoys visitors and publicity from around the World.

The introduction of the World Egg Throwing Championships in 2005 saw a couple of New Zealanders become the First World Champions.
